USB Secure Hard Drive Design Role: Staff Industrial Designer with Team 2010 iF Design Award 2009 CES Best of Innovations

This product was a great team collaboration focused on optimal portable data security for ThinkPad customers. My role was to lead in ID brainstorm sessions, research, concept development, CAD, iteration, CMF, artwork spec and sample inspections before mass production. The Secure HDD was designed as a Large Enterprise, Business and Government agency collaboration and security tool. It was featured in the New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/20/technology/personaltech/20hdrive.html), Engadget (2 times) and several blogs and publications as well as Good Morning America.
