The goals for the design of this line of ThinkVision Monitors was to improve usability for customers while helping make this the most eco-friendly monitor in its category. This was achieved through design by significantly decreasing container loading volume 40% compared to the previous ThinkVision line while retaining it's ergonomic attributes of lift, swivel, rotation and pivot. The monitor designs were used, smashed and blown-up throughout the office sequences of the 2011 movie Transformers 3: Dark Side of the Moon.
